Exciting News for Central Coast Youth Wrestling! Two of the Central Coast’s premier youth wrestling programs—Paso Robles’ Smash Mouth Wrestling Club and Atascadero’s Mad Dog Wrestling Club—are officially joining forces to create an elite new club: ORIGIN Training Center. Led by highly respected coaches Mitch Monteiro, Nate Ybarra, Jayson Davidson, and Joe Belmonte, all with deep roots in the Central Coast wrestling community, ORIGIN marks a historic merger of two rival programs, uniting for the betterment of youth wrestling. Open to youth wrestlers from all over the Central Coast, ORIGIN will offer a bigger, faster, and stronger training environment, designed to push athletes to new heights. The new ORIGIN Training Center, located off Union Road in Paso Robles, will feature two full-size mats and a spacious facility built for intense, high-level training and competition. With D1 wrestlers on the coaching staff and a focus on providing top-tier training partners, wrestlers from both towns will have the opportunity to elevate their skills like never before. ORIGIN’s mission is to offer a year-round program, allowing athletes to train and compete throughout the year. By uniting these two powerhouse clubs, ORIGIN aims to redefine wrestling culture on the Central Coast, giving young athletes the resources, training, and competition they need to succeed.
