Groups Coaching: HP - High Performance
BIO
Endi began his coaching career with the South Florida Aquatic Club, before coaching with the Markham Aquatic Club, then the Etobicoke Swim Club. Endi has had the privilege of coaching swimmers to over 20 Canadian National Age Group Records, over 30 Ontario Provincial Records, and has helped numerous age group swimmers reach Junior National, Senior National, and Olympic Trials standards as well as win multiple high point awards at the Ontario Provincial and Festival level. A former competitive swimmer himself, Endi knows well the character development, opportunities, and education that high-level sport and the Olympic movement can provide young student-athletes when combined with a desire to succeed.
Endi is thrilled to continue coaching at the Barrie Trojan Swim Club for the 2023-2024 season and beyond as Head Coach.
His coaching experience started back with the Muskoka Aquatic Club, where Sam had volunteered to coach with several groups. While attending university, Sam coached for the Guelph Marlin Aquatic Club, as well as assisting the varsity team.
Sam is a recent graduate from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Honours Psychology stream.
Sam is extremely excited to continue his coaching career with the Trojans!
Groups Coaching: Senior & Novice
BIO
A newcomer to the BTSC for the 23-24 season, Alessandro will be coaching the Senior and Novice Groups. In his 8 years of coaching so far, Alessandro has worked with the Granite Gators and North York Aquatic Club. The BTSC is excited to have Alessandro join the coaching staff!
Pre-Competitive Coordinator: Tiny Trojans & House League
BIO
Debbie joined the Barrie Trojan Swim Club as a parent in 2000 with all three of her children eventually swimming for the club. She began coaching with the Trojans in 2004 with the first Swim School Program and has since gained experience coaching all three Novice levels with many swimmers achieving Regional Times.
Debbie swam competitively with Etobicoke Memorial Aquatic Club, Lakeshore Swimming Club and Varsity at Ryerson P. I. She taught swimming, lifesaving, synchro and coached high school swim teams since she was a teen and has been an aquatic programmer with the Barrie YMCA and the City of Barrie.
Debbie shares per passion for swimming with her swimmers. Returning as the Pre-Competitive Coordinator, Debbie introduces swimmers to competitive swimming by improving their technique and building their self-esteem while encouraging them to make friends and have fun!
Groups Coaching: Provincial & Junior Development
BIO
Joe started out with BTSC at the age of 7 where he learned the basics in the Swim Skills program. He grew as a Trojan and remained a dedicated swimmer from Novice through to the Senior level. Joe obtained his National Lifeguard Award and Instructor Certification and has taught swimming lessons and water safety for the Simcoe Muskoka YMCA pool and summer day camp. Joe studied Sociology at Laurentian University and swam for the Voyageurs briefly until the pandemic hit. With a Bachelor of Arts Degree now complete, his passion for swimming has brought him back to the pool deck. Returning for the 2023-2024 season, Coach Joe looks forward to continuing his development as a coach, and sharing that knowledge with his swimmers in the Provincial and Junior Development groups!
Groups Coaching: Provincial Development

Rocco will be coaching the Provincial Development Group for the 23-24 Season. He will bring experience from his competitive swimming as well as from having assisted with the Novice Group and Tiny Trojans Programs.
Groups Coaching: TOP (Tiny Olympic Prospect)
BIO
Maks will take over coaching duties for the TOP Group for the 2023-2024 season. He will combine his experience as a competitive swimmer and a coach with the Tiny Trojans with his passion for working with youth.
