Hundreds attend Cornwall Sea Lions' annual Snowflake Invitational swim meet

Some 300 swimmers descended into the Cornwall Aquatic Centre pool over the weekend, marking one of the best-attended Snowflake Invitational swim meets.

The host Cornwall Sea Lions Club had a strong contingent on hand, including Kahlee Larivière and Max Rose, who are among the Lions’ most senior members.

“I’m in awe,” said Rose after completing his 100-metre breaststroke swim. “We have over 300 swimmers here. For (our) swim meet, that’s just a crazy number. “And we have significantly more competitive teams.”
