Summer BC Divisional Championships

Inconnu is delighted to call its trip to beautiful Kelowna for Summer BC Divisional Championships a resounding success!

Travelling with a team of 10 athletes, Inconnu swimmers demonstrated great resilience and focus while achieving excellent results in their swims.

Of special note were the performances of the two youngest members of the squad Avelyn Ross and Everleigh Stirling. Avelyn in particular has seen significant time drops in the biggest meet of her swimming career thus far, making the finals in 200m backstroke and becoming the fastest 11 year old in the 12&U category in process finishing the event in 6th place overall.

On the boys’ side, a special mention goes to Elias Stirling for achieving the Alberta Provincial qualifying time in the 200m breaststroke that will see him join the squad on the way to Edmonton for the final competition of the year.

A beautiful competition in a beautiful setting, Kelowna 2025 was undoubtedly an excellent penultimate event for the team that will hopefully double in its size at same time next year!
