Swimmers Shine at Londons Hollandia Meet
From May 10-12, the London Aquatic Club hosted their annual Hollandia swim meet, showcasing a vast array of swimmers from across Ontario.
The event was a great success for the 57 athletes representing our club, who demonstrated exceptional performances throughout the weekend.
The swimmers delivered an astounding 111 personal best times, reflecting their hard work and dedication. Additionally, numerous other times were within 2% of their best, indicating consistent excellence across the board.
The meet was not just about personal bests; it also marked significant milestones for many of our athletes. We celebrated new Western Regional, Ontario Youth Junior, and Ontario Festival qualification standards being met, setting the stage for future successes.
As we look ahead the achievements at Hollandia are a promising indicator of the potential for Championship Season.
As we continue to train and compete, we look forward to more outstanding performances and new milestones.
