Our team is a year-round competitive offering high quality, professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. We are committed to providing a safe environment for all participants and have athlete protection policies and guidelines in place. The goal of our team is to promote a lifetime of wellness through the sport of swimming.

Pre Team Group (ages 6-9)

This group is geared towards the brand new swimmer. Technique is the focus amongst these young swimmers. These swimmers are taught novice swim drills, lap, swimming, practice language, and healthy swimming habits. This group must have basic knowledge of all four strokes (minimal Butterfly) and prepared to listen and learn the basics

This group does not participate in US Swimming competitions

This group does not require equipment. 

Bronze 

The Bronze Level provides younger swimmers the opportunity to develop fundamental skills in racing to include learning the four competitive strokes, the correct starts, and proper turns.  Knowledge of all 4 competitive strokes is required. Although participation in other sports and activities is normal, swimmers are encouraged to attend a minimum of 2 practices a week. Good attendance is one of the considerations for promotion.

Placement into the Bronze Level:

*6-11 years of age

*Can swim in deep water

*Can swim 50 yards freestyle demonstrating breathing to the side and good body position

*Can swim 50 years backstroke demonstrating good body position

*Can swim 50 yards butterfly and breaststroke legally.

Silver 

The Silver Level focuses on continued development in stroke technique and efficiency. Aerobic training will be introduced. Swimmers are required to attend at least three practices a week. Regular attendance is necessary to build a foundation for continued improvement and keeping up with the rest of the level as they advance.

Placement into the Silver Level:

*9-12 years of age

*Has demonstrated legal technique in all four strokes..

*Has strong attendance record (3 – 5 days a week)

*Has demonstrated on a daily basis the desire and ability to perform at a higher level.

*Has coaches recommendations

*8 & Under swimmers can be promoted to Silver if they have a strong attendance record (3 days a week), have demonstrated on a daily basis the desire and ability to perform at higher level and have shown the maturity to work with older swimmers.

Gold

The Gold Level continues to refine stroke technique and efficiency. The staples of the workout include longer freestyle and IM sets to enforce a strong foundation in aerobic training. Strong workout habits are taught and swimmers are expected to attend four workouts a week.

Placement into the Gold Level:

*10 years of age or older.

*Has a demonstrated on a daily basis the desire and ability to perform at a higher level.

*Has Coaches’ recommendations

*10 year olds can move if they have strong attendance (3-4 days a week), have demonstrated on a daily basis the desire and ability to perform at a higher level and have shown maturity to work with older swimmers.
