Meet Volunteer Commitment

Each family (except Minnows) is required to fulfill the following volunteer commitments:

1. One individual in each family MUST complete the self-directed "Introduction to Swimming Officiating Clinic" online in May.

2. Be a meet volunteer at the Marlins Meet in July. An initial list of positions and sign-up sheet will be emailed out early in the season, however more positions will be added to the document as we get closer to the event.

3. Be a meet volunteer for one shift (morning or afternoon) per every two swim meets that your swimmer attends. We are required by Region C to provide at least one volunteer for every 6 swimmers that attend a meet. Our club will also provide a few volunteers to assist in running Regionals and Provincials.

Note: Families can double up on non-Marlins meet volunteering if they are unable to attend the Marlins meet, however we strongly encourage everyone to do their best to attend. Approval to transfer this requirement will need to be approved by the Executive prior to the meet.

You will provide 2x $100 Meet Volunteer Deposits dated July 21, 2025 that will be returned to you by the end of the season if you sign up for meet volunteer jobs as detailed above.
