2024 Canadian Olympic Trials Swim Meet Review

Middlesex Admin

Middlesex Swimming would like to congratulate Kyle Stuckless on his wonderful racing performances this last week at the 2024 Canadian Olympic Trials in Scarborough from Monday, May 13th to Sunday, May 19th!!!

2024 Canadian Olympic Trials Open Review

Kyle was racing this past week in Scarborough at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre within the 2024 Canadian Olympic Trials. This competition attracted 151 clubs and 857 of the very best swimmers from all across Canada as well as some top end swimmers from the U.S. and different parts of the world.

Kyle had a pretty good competition overall as this was his very first ever Olympic Trials that he has raced in. The competition featured a field of incredibly fast swimmers and an electric atmosphere. Kyle ended up racing to all personal prelim best times in the morning in the races he participated in, he was able to get some overall personal best times as well as new club records, and he made the Junior Final within the 100m Butterfly where he was in the hunt for a medal all the way to the wall, but ended up coming in 8th - Congratulations again Kyle on your performances and we look forward to big things as you continue forward in the pool this summer!!!

The club would like to ensure that we provide our many thanks to Swimming Canada, all of the volunteer officials from all over Canada, and everyone else involved for helping to run the Olympic Trials this past week/weekend!
