Burlington Masters Swim Meet Review

Middlesex Swimming would like to congratulate all of our masters’ swimmers that raced at a swim meet this last Sunday, March 16th in Burlington!!!

5 of our master’s swimmers’ dove into the water this past weekend in Burlington to race at the 6th masters swim meet of the season within the Swim Ontario Swim Series.

Throughout the swim meet the club had many positives to highlight. Every single swimmer placed in the top 3 of their respective age categories more then once individually (3 of our swimmers won all of their races that they competed in – Congratulations Jillian, Jennifer, & Karen on your performances!), the club ended up placing in the top 3 overall of all the clubs in attendance at the competition, and the most important part of the swim meet was the positive experiences that everyone had from getting to be around their supportive teammates and peers.

After the swim meet was all over and the final whistle blew, everyone raced their hearts out, had many laughs, inspired those around them, and made more special memories that will last a lot longer than the races ever do to reminisce about for years to come. Wonderful job everyone and we look forward to having more members join in at future swim meets left on the 2024-2025 calendar :)
The club would like to ensure that we provide our many thanks to the Burlington Masters Swim Club and all of the other volunteer officials for helping to run this excellent swim meet this past weekend and for ensuring all of the swimmers were very well fed!
