Dr. Paul Hauch Swim Meet Review

Middlesex Admin

Middlesex Swimming would like to congratulate our 11 age group swimmers on their wonderful racing this last weekend London at the 2025 Dr. Paul Hauch Short Course Invitational!!!

Dr. Paul Hauch Swim Meet Review

Again, our age group swimmers had a excellent competition! We had a lot of heat winners and bell winners (where they raced for prizes when the bell rang or they won a heat depending on the session that they were in - 1st person to the wall wins!!!),  every single swimmer had some best times within the races that they competed within (7 of the 11 swimmers had best times in every race they competed within), every swimmer placed in the top 8 and most also placed in the top 3 in at least one race!!!

Special mention also goes out to Charlie Moskal who competed in his first ever swim meet! Charlie blew away his entry times, won a bronze medal in his one race, attempted to compete flip turns correctly in his events and did about 10m underwater within his 50m freestyle off of his dive - Way to go Charlie!!!

Additionally, the club would like to recognize our top male and female athletes who took off the most amount of time at the swim meet (i.e. the most improved swimmers at the swim meet).  The female swimmer with the most time taken off was Charlotte Li with 130.46secs taken off (or about 2:10.46 in time off) and the male with the most time taken off was her brother Lawrence Li with 137.26secs taken off (or about 2:17.26 in time off). Congratulations Charlotte and Lawrence on your BIG IMPROVEMENTS in the pool this past weekend!

Great job everyone on your races this past weekend, you made us all very proud!

The club would like to ensure that we provide our many thanks to the the London Aquatic Club (LAC) and all of the volunteer officials from all over Ontario for helping to run this excellent competition for our swimmers this past weekend!
