MSO LC Provincial Championship Swim Meet Review

Middlesex Swimming would like to pass along our congratulations to Ian Ball, Jillian Best, and David Landry who participated in the 2023 MSO LC Provincials Championships held in Nepean this past weekend Saturday March 25th to Sunday, March 26th with swim clubs and swimmers from across all over Canada as well as our Armed Forces.
Ian, Jillian, and David put together loads of great performances over the weekend in Nepean coming away with 11 NEW CLUB RECORDS, they also all swam to some all-time (or masters) personal bests, and our team of three swimmers helped the club to place in the top 15 out of 37 teams at the championships. Pound for pound they all produced some really outstanding results, way to go guys!
The club would also like to thank the Nepean Master Swim Club, all of the volunteers, and MSO for putting on such an excellent event for everyone - Thank you!
And finally the club again makes its normal plug towards anyone that is thinking about getting involved with these Masters swim meets. These swim meets are always loads of fun to experience, you will likely make new friends (or reconnect with old ones), they are great opportunities to continue to help you grow as both an athlete and person, and these swim meets are excellent for giving everyone something else to work towards and keep your motivation up.
Swim Ontario Masters Provincials is coming up on May 6th-7th in Etobicoke, Ontario and it is a wonderful opportunity to either get your 1st swim meet experience in or to participate within. So if you are interested, reach out to the club!
