Aqua 7 Finals Swim Meet Review

AQUA 7 FINALS SWIM MEET REVIEW

Middlesex Swimming would also like to congratulate all of our age group swimmers that raced in the Aqua 7 Finals this past Sunday, April 30th in Wilmot!!!
Again our swimmers put many great performances together this past Sunday. Each swimmer was able to accomplish best times, with a large majority of those athletes producing 100% best times!!! We had 3 first time racers at the Aqua 7 Finals - Ashirya Dasitar + William Palma + Hailey Wilson. Ashirya, William, and Hailey all were able to come away from the swim meet with top 3 performances and are looking forward to swimming in other competitions in the near future! We also had a bunch of swimmers get very close to achieving Western Regional Championship times for the first time ever. As a special mention goes out to Lucy Wieleba for making her first ever 12 year old regional championships in the 50m freestyle!!! Congratulations Lucy :)
All of the athletes showed lots of excellent team spirit and really the team continues to feel more like a family with the relationships that are being developed and the support that the athletes are providing to one another, which is just so wonderful to see!
Finally, after all was said and done the club came away in the top 5 at the Aqua 7 Finals... And top 4 in the overall Aqua 7 season - Way to go Middlesex swimmers!!!
The club also would like to send out a very BIG THANK YOU to Coach Bailey for ensuring all of our swimmers had a wonderful experience at the swim meet this past Sunday :)
