Speed Swimming 

EXISTING MEMBERS:

Registration will open for our existing members on Dec 22nd at 9am (Existing members are those who swam with us this past summer season - 2025)

Due to staffing shortages, we have had to lower our registration numbers so spaces are limited. Do not delay in registering!!

PREVIOUS MEMBERS

Registration will open for our previous members and their siblings on Dec 23rd at 9am (previous members are those who swam with us in the summer club pre 2025 and swimming lesson participants are not club members)

Space available to previous members is based on availability. Priority is given to members that swam summer 2025. 

Please note, due to limitations of our system, individuals who are not existing members may be able to register at the earlier date. Your registration will be cancelled if you register prior to the dates and parameters mentioned above.

Members who did not participate in our 2025 summer season will also have to pay a BCSSA fee of $45 (includes insurance).

Swimmers cannot enter the water until they have paid their BCSSA fees (insurance) for the year (May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026)

​NEW MEMBERS

Families interested in joining our summer swim club in 2026 may register for fall and winter maintenance ahead of the summer season based on availaiblity. You must contact [email protected] to be considered as a new member and new members must pay a BCSSA fee of $45 (includes insurance) before registering and entering the pool. Once this is done you will be given a registration date based on program availabilty. Please note that we are under-staffed and are offering limited spaces.

All swimmers must be able to swim a minimum of 15m unassisted in a recognizable stroke and must be comfortable entering the pool without parent assistance (this is a competitive swim club and not a lesson program).

We reserve the right to withdraw a participant if they do not meet the minimum swim requirements or they are unable to participate in a safe way.

Swimmers must be 5 years old as of Dec 31, 2026.

Cost: $196 (14 sessions)
Ages 14 to 18 with intermediate to advanced swim skills

Thursday 3:30PM

Day/Time: Thursdays 3:30pm to 4:45pm

Ages 10 to 14 with intermediate to advanced swim skills

Friday 3:00PM - Shallow End
Run Dates: Jan 9-Apr 24  ** No Class March 20, March 27, April 3

Cost: $169 (13 sessions)
Ages 5 to 9 with beginner swim skills (must be able to swim 15m unassisted)

Cost: $182 (13 sessions)
Ages 8 to 14 with intermediate to advanced swim skills.

Friday 4:15PM - Shallow End

Day/Time: Fridays 4:15pm to 5:15pm
Cost: $169 (13 sessions)
Ages 5 to 9 with beginner swim skills (must be able to swim 15m unassisted)

Cost: $182 (13 sessions)
Ages 8 to 14 with intermediate to advanced swim skills

Coaches reserve the right to move swimmers between shallow and deep end depending on skill and coach availability.

If your swimmer is younger than 8 and you believe they should swim in the deep end, register for shallow and a coach will assess them on the first day. We can not guarentee space in the deep end for swimmers younger than 8.

Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy

If you would like to cancel or withdraw your registration, the above table outlines our refund policy.  NRWSC works extremely hard to avoid having to cancel practices but sometimes it is unavoidable**.  If we must cancel practices due to inclement weather or another reason that is beyond our control, the session will not be refunded.  If we must cancel due to staffing shortages or another reason that is our responsibility, we will refund the cancelled practice.
