NOMI is a member of the USA Michigan Swimming League. This team is made up of swimmers from various age-group swimming clubs across the state — including athletes from the Michigan Team Swim League (MTSL) such as the Soo Y Dolphins in Canada.
A USA Swimming membership is required to participate in these meets. Most USA meets are held in southern Michigan at large aquatic venues. Local, State, and National meets are available depending on qualifying times. Meets are divided into two seasons:
Short Course (SC) Season: September to March
Long Course (LC) Season: May to July
The NOMI USA team is a regional-based competitive team. Swimmers from other club teams, like the Soo Y Dolphins, may join NOMI to participate in USA meets.
