The Ocean Adventure Learn-to-Swim Program progresses through 10 levels- with each level represented by a sea animal.

Swimmers progress through structured skills, ensuring fluency before advancing to the next level.

After completing all levels, they receive one free month in the Black Group within Patriot Swim Club, where they can explore a competitive swimming team.

Each level is scheduled to be completed in ONE MONTH in either a 2/week or 3/week lesson program:

For the best results to progress through the program in one month for each level - we highly recommend 3 lessons/week for 4 weeks... with the final exam on the last lesson - for a total of 12 sessions in the month. We do also offer a 2/week lesson program, but this might mean your swimmer repeats a level in the next month. Consistency is key for new swimmers, and 3/week lessons ensures that learned techniques become habit much faster. 

Policies: 

  • Every swimmer must have a Flex USA Swimming membership - which you purchase and maintain through USA Swimming ($30 annual fee). 
    • The Flex membership is only available to swimmers 12&under at the time of registration.
    • The Flex membership allows participation in up to TWO USA Swimming-sanctioned meets in the year. It is NOT valid for championship meets (States, Divisionals, etc). You must upgrade to the Premium level if the swimmer participates in more than 2 meets in a year. (If you choose to move on to the Pre-Competitive or Competitive swim team after Ocean Adventures - you will need to upgrade to the Premium level ($60 additional fee). 
    • ​To register: Parents will first create their own USA Swimming account. DO NOT purchase your own membership - add your swimmer to your account and purchase the membership for the swimmer. 

  • Parents must register their swimmer for the correct level. You can start with an evaluation to determine which level your swimmer should begin on. After each month - you must wait to confirm that your swimmer COMPLETED the level (and recieved their certificate) before registering for the next level up. 

  • If you are going to miss a lesson - please send a message to the coach via the Ocean Adventure Group Me. 

  • Any missed lesson make-ups MUST be completed within the same month - missed lessons will NOT carry over into the next month. 

  • To schedule a makeup- you need to complete a makeup that is in the SAME LEVEL. You can not choose a timeslot for another level (for example, if you miss a Level 6 lesson, you can not attend a Level 9 lesson as a make-up). You can make a request for a make-up in the GroupMe app. 

  • There are no refunds for any unused lessons. 

Packages begin on the 1st of the month - and end with the exam at the end of the month. The last week of the month is Certificate Week - when you will know if your swimmer "graduated" to the next level. 

Registration for the classes is NOT automatically renewed. You must register for the next month of classes no later than the 30th of each month to be included in the next month.

Level 2: Seahorse (Basic Propulsion & Coordination)

Level 3: Jellyfish (Treading & Body Control)

Level 4: Dolphin (Building Endurance & Stroke Fundamentals)

Level 5: Turtle (Refining Strokes & Endurance)

Level 6: Otter (Stroke Mastery & Deep Water Confidence)

Level 7: Stingray (Competitive Skills & Butterfly Basics).

Level 8: Shark (Advanced Stroke Development)

Level 9: Orca (Pre-Competitive Readiness)  

Level 10: Manta Ray (Final Preparation for White Group)

 

Monthly Fees:

3 Lessons/week: $308.42

2 Lessons/week: $257.93
