And the Marlins definitely need an internal push for this swim meet. It was a cold, rainy, and windy morning in Tiburon. But that didn’t deter 12 swimmers from being there and swimming their hearts out! The 12 swimmers did 29 events not including the relays. Marlins had 18 best times giving the team 62% improvement. Being at Tiburon, I got to watch a lot more swimming and the Marlins looked good. Marlins had one new swimmer, welcome to the swim meets Max. What a way to debut your swimming....

Not sure how we lucked out with no rain. A little chilly, but not a bad day for a swim meet. Marlins ended up with 10 swimmers swimming in 39 different events. There were a few relays to add on as well. Out of the 39 swims, there were 23 best times. A team average of 59% improvement. I loved seeing all the swimmers look great in their swims. They all really looked good. With only 10 swimmers, we still had 2 new swimmers. Great job Abby & Lucian. Charlotte...

The best part of my day, seeing all the results and giving a little summary. Marlins lucked out with no rain though it was a bit chilly. But with only 10 swimmers (NBA had less than 15 as well) we were able to stay in the pool for warmth. Our 10 swimmers swam 33 events not including the relays. Everyone also did at least one of the relays, most did both. We even had two new swimmers, welcome to swim meets Juliette & Rose. Avery also conquered a new swim...

I love our home meets. They are a lot of work, but it is great to be able to see the swimming come out in a relaxed pace. NBA joined us for a quick winter meet. Marlins ended up with 9 swimmers swimming 32 individual events, that didn’t include all the relays. Since it is winter and many swimmers resist swimming because of the cold, we had all seasoned swimmers. Marins had 20 best times giving the team a 62% improvement. Our next meet is in Vallejo on Feb. 10-11th....

Well, what could have been a great local meet was a bit lower than expected with coach being out of town. What swims did happen, were great swims. Out of the 5 swimmers scheduled to swim on Satruday, Marlins ended up with one swimmer with one swim. Evie swam the 50 backstroke and ended with a best time. Great job Evie. On Sunday, was a little better with 2 out of 3 swimmers that swam 5 events. And a coach trying to stay awake through the meet. The great swimming...
