Spooky Plunge, many argue the best meet of the year. And this year was no different. The rain didn’t deter 25 Marlin swimmers that swam in 68 individual events. Of course there were many that also swam in 1-2 of the relays and not to forget the pumpkin swim and the blind race. In the 68 Individual events, there were 49 best times giving the team a 72% improvement rate. Syd, Dennie, Dottie, and Georgia had their first swim meet and did great, congratulations. Another 7 swimmers tried new events….great...

It is so hard not to love and enjoy our home meets. I am always so impressed with all the effort and great swimming throughout the meet. Our first home meet of the season did not disappoint. We ended up with 22 swimmers that did 79 events not to include the relays. Most swimmers did a relay too. Out of the 79 swims, we had 61 best times giving the team a 77% improvement…Much better than I thought being the beginning of the season. Great starting point to go from!...
