REGISTRATION / TRYOUT INFORMATION
*All divers must first be evaluated by our coaching staff prior to joining a class. Start by selecting FREE TRYOUT from our homepage. At your tryout, our coaches will evaluate and recommend an appropriate class taking into consideration, skill, experience, age and goals. You will then be required to REGISTER ONLINE before joining a class.
THUNDERBIRD DIVING
CLASS OFFERINGS
LESSONS:
All new divers start with our Lessons Program to make sure safety and diving fundamentals are solid. This program focuses on the mechanics of diving, learning the take-offs, hurdles, forward and back entries using both 1m and 3m. One hour classes are offered up to 2 times weekly under our tuition program.
LESSONS 1X OR 2X TIMES WEEKLY
1 DAY A WEEK = $150.00 monthly + $100 Quarterly fee
2X A WEEK = $180.00 monthly + $120 Quarterly fee
HIGH SCHOOL / COLLEGE:
Flexible instruction based on your needs and goals! Open to divers in HS / College and beyond who have a dive list and want to improve and perfect their technique. Dryland and Water workouts can be integrated as needed.
HS / COLLEGE - 2X WEEKLY
$260 monthly
+ $200 Quarterly Fee
Practice up to 2 times per week
Designed for "seasonal" divers with an established dive list
NOVICE COMPETITIVE TEAM:
Placed by coach selection, our Novice team is ranked 2ND in our Region! These divers have a competition dive list and compete in about 4 meets per year. Novice team is a year round program and a one year minimum commitment. Focus on fundamentals, dryland, conditioning and more advanced dives are stressed in this class. Coaches teach competitive mindsets, developing courage and having fun while getting really good at diving!
Novice or Future Champions (1 hour x 4 days a week) (By Invitation only)
$300 monthly - discounted tuition rate + $1,200 Team Fee ($300 a Quarter)
Practice up to 4 times per week plus about 4 weekend meets in the Region 9 area.
Practice/Team Commitment Agreement required
Attendance, Volunteer and Team Fee requirements, Requires USAD Membership
JR OLYMPIC COMPETITIVE TEAM
Placed by coach selection, our JO team travels and competes in some of the best pools in the country! These divers have a high level competition dive list, have made diving their #1 priority activity, work hard, maintain a 95% attendance record and travel to compete in 6-8 meets per year. This is a year round program and a one year minimum commitment is required. Focus on fundamentals, dryland, conditioning advanced dives is stressed in this class. Coaches teach competitive mindsets, developing courage and having fun while excelling at their chosen sport!
JO TEAM (up to age 19)
$375 monthly - discounted tuition rate + $1,200 Team Fee ($300 a Quarter)
Practice up to 4 times per week plus up to 6 meets (Region 9 and out of state travel)
Practice/Team Commitment Agreement required

CANCELATION, REFUND & PRORATE POLICIES:
Membership Cancelation:
Thirty (30) day written notice is required when withdrawing from THUNDERBIRD DIVING, to cancel a prepaid Tuition program.
Refunds:
Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable once billed. THUNDERBIRD DIVING will refund if there is a problem with the website billing.
Prorates & Credits:
We regret that we are unable to prorate or carryover tuition or annual fees billed for any classes. Once fees are billed, if an athlete cannot participate in their scheduled practices for that week or month, those fees are forfeited. Further, we do not offer additional practice time, make-up practices, credits for future weeks/months, or any other form of rebate or credit.
Practice Cancelations:
Tuition rates have been calculated based on the understanding that there will be practice cancelations due to inclement weather, coach vacations (two weeks in December and two weeks in September) and other unavoidable situations. We strive to keep practice cancelations to a bare minimum, but must still pay for coaches and facility use even when practice is canceled. The Air Force Academy can cancel at anytime with short notice. THUNDERBIRD DIVING will contact all coaches, athletes and parents with a text message at the time of cancelation.
