Saugus Spartan Cheer is a youth cheer organization serving cheerleaders in grades 1st through 8th (ages 6-14) in the Santa Clarita Valley. Our entire program is run by and comprised of volunteers.
Our sideline cheer program is the foundation of our programs. The sideline season runs from August through November with registation beginning in March and closing in May. We cheer for Saugus Spartans Football and they are part of the Gold Coast Youth Football League (GCYFL).
In addition to our sideline program, we also have a competition program that runs September through February. Our competition team competes at 4-8 competitions a year and is for older girls (4th grade+) and/or those with certain skills. In order to be in our competition program, sideline participation is mandatory.

Spartan Cheer's main objective is to teach cheerleading skills, create community, and build confidence in every one of our cheerleaders. We are dedicated to growing our cheerleaders by fostering a positive, fun, and engaging environment, which encourages self-motivation, hard work, respect, teamwork, achievement, leadership, loyalty, commitment, integrity, and creativity.
