Friday Practice for SR and SD has been changed to Helix HS ( this week only). The time is still 4:15 - 6:00 pm. The Helix water polo team is away and this will help us in setting up for the meet for Saturday.
Swim meet news:
The CAST - hosted meet this weekend is at Helix HS. Most of you have been there before, but if not, it's just down the street. Please park in back of the school (see map below).
Swimmers should be on deck at 7:00 AM. The meet will be over about noon. Bring warm clothes, CAST caps, and CAST clothing to represent your team. If you have a team suit, please wear it. Please set up in the designated team area.
We need all parents to step up and help out and sign up for at least one job in order to provide a great meet experience for all of the kids. See the job-sign-up button on our website next to the meet. (e-mail also going out)
OFFICIALS : WE REALLY NEED PEOPLE TO TRAIN AS OFFICIALS!!!!!! We keep getting fined at meets for lacking officials, and as a meet host, we are REQUIRED to have two officials, yet we have no certified officials on the team at this point. Please step up - we need you!
Relays: We will be putting some relays together at the meet. If you cannot stay until noon for the end of the relays, please make your coaches aware. Relays are always a blast for the kids.
The estimated timeline says 11:30 .... but I always expect an extra 10-15 minutes when there are a lot of NT (no time) swimmers. and then relays should take about 15 minutes - so noon is my best guess for the meet end time.
