Royal Group

The Royal Group is named after a Royal Flush, the strongest hand in poker. This group is Ace Aquatic's premier group.

Royal Group consists of competitive swimmers who are working to achieve Sectionals, Futures, Junior National time standards and beyond. Athete's will learn how to set comprehensive goals, and strengthen their bodies and (more importantly) their minds in order to achieve them. Royal athletes will be held to the highest standards regarding practice attendance, our team values, and as team leaders. 

Group Requirements: 

  • 2 "Juanita Allignton" time standards are required to join this group (found below).

  • A minimum age of 13 is required. 
  • Swimmers must be able to complete 8 x 100s freestyle on the 1:20 interval.
  • Swimmers must be able to complete 8 x 100s IM on the 1:30 interval.
  • Swimmers must be able to complete 8 x 100s Kick on the 2:00 interval.

Monthly Fee: $175/monthly

Swim Practice Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday @ 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday @ 5:45 AM - 7:00 AM
  • Saturday @ 7:00 AM - 9:45 AM

Required Equipment:

  • Practice Suit (we discourage the use of "leisure" swimwear such as board shorts, swim shirts, bikinis, etc.) 
  • Goggles 
  • Caps (for swimmers with long hair) 
  • Kick Board
  • Snorkel 
  • Fins (preferably long)
  • Paddles (ask Coach Jackson for assistance in sizes)
  • Pull Bouy
  • Water Bottle 
  • Gym Clothing (appropriate for dryland)

Swim Meets:

  • Meets are required for these swimmers to move up to the Royal Group. 
  • Team cap and 3 team shirts are required for meet participation.
