On behalf of the AVON Swim Club, we invite you to join us as a TEAM SPONSOR. Our sponsorship packages are designed to both raise money for the AVON Swim Club and advertise for you as much as possible as a “Thank You” for your generosity.
MISSION:
Friends of Avon Swimming shall support ALL Avon Swim Club (ASC) swimmers in their sport and in their sportsmanship as they learn the rewards of hard work, discipline, dedication, friendships, personal victory and mutual team success. FOAS will strive to increase community and parent interest in the sport of swimming. FOAS will help build a positive community among all swimmers, coaches, and swim families.
OBJECTIVES:
• To promote good sportsmanship and teamwork.
• To promote team spirit through social interactions and functions.
• To increase local community and parent interest in the sport of swimming.
• To recognize the endeavors and achievements of the team and individual athletes.
• To assist coaches with their continuing education and at meets by volunteering
• To educate new and existing swim families.
• To provide training opportunities and tools helpful to the team and local athletes.
PRIORITIES:
• Assist financially with continuing education for Avon Swim coaches to increase our athletes, swim experience and development.
• Assist with team building functions and help provide swag to promote team cohesiveness and camaraderie, as well as promote the visibility of the team and our sponsors while in the valley and while traveling nationally and internationally.
• Assist financially in sending Avon coaches to meets not fully funded by the town of Avon, such as high-level USA Swimming team travel meets that are sectional level or above.
• Assist in buying state of the art gear and equipment to support athlete development and performance.
• Provide assistance to swimmers who need help financially, so that they may attend national level meets (Sectionals, Futures, Junior Nationals, Olympic Trials) and further their athletic dream.
WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE:
The Avon Swim Club (ASC) is unique because although we are a small club in size, we are producing national level talent with our swimmers making national level meets such as Junior Nationals (less than .1% of swimmers qualify for Junior Nationals), Futures, and Sectionals. Avon Swim Club has been Colorado State Swim Championship Team (Small Team Division) for 2023 and 2024, both short course and long course state championship meets
