Denver Tritons Diving (new Fall 2025)
After 10 years mostly idle, Denver Tritons is bringing back the diving option to their club offerings. Diving is an amazing sport and we can't wait to see all that our divers will accomplish in good time. Speaking of good times, watch as we grow!
Denver Triton Diving will start small... and over time, we will branch off into different levels of skills. But to start, we will focus on making diving and training together fun while following the most basic progressions. Team efforts will focus on mastery of beginning skills and working toward age- and skill-specific goals.
Learn to Dive Program
This program is designed for beginners who are new to diving. It focuses on:
Basic Diving Techniques: Introduction to fundamental diving skills.
Safety Practices: Emphasis on safety in and around the water.
Fun and Engagement: Activities to make learning enjoyable and engaging.
Competitive Prep and Advanced Diving
Eventually, our club will offer more advanced training aimed at preparing them for age group, high school and hopefully regional, zone, and national-level competitions.
Competitive Prep: Training tailored to meet the requirements of age group, high school and regional competitions.
Advanced Techniques: Focus on refining and mastering advanced diving skills, advancing our divers to State (HS) or Zone/Nationals in age group competitions.
The club is committed to fostering a supportive and encouraging environment for all its members.
About the Coach(es)
| Coach Taylor Jackson | Coach Kevin Sage |
| Coach Taylor Jackson began diving at the age of 12, after being identified by a local diving coach as a possible protege. She quickly rose through the sport through her club training here in Colorado. She then went on to compete for two NCAA Division I schools (Seton Hall, New Mexico State). In her career, she had many highlights, including setting school records and winning the 3-meter competition at the 2018 Big East Championships during her freshman year. Coach Taylor now coaches many of the north-area Jeffco HS teams, including Ralston Valley, AWest, Pomona, and Standley Lake. She begins her 5th season this Fall 2025. She loves sharing her experience and passion for the sport with the next generation of athletes. |
Coach Kev is entering his 41st year coaching. It all started in Fall 1985 coaching his HS Alma Mater, guiding a young man, Steve Warren, to HS State Championships with Columbus East HS in Indiana. Since then, he has coached and judged at almost every level of diving, from beginner lessons to senior nationals. Coach Kev now coaches many DPS teams (North, South, East, West, and Manual HS). His passion is to take a diver from their first day learning front jumps and lineups, and watching their awe when they begin competitive diving. |

Kevin Sage is known by most as "Coach Kev" and is pictured below. He's the one falling while holding a perfect 10, caught while "officiating" at the University of Michigan, who hosted the BigTen Conference Championships with his judging friends.
