If your little one is just beginning to enjoy and understand team sports, Joyful Athletics Learn to Play Soccer is an ideal introduction to soccer focusing on skills, rules, mechanics, and basics like listening to coaches and being a good teammate. Players develop their ball handling, shooting and footwork while focusing on sportsmanship, teamwork and fair play.

Practices and Games will all be at Oakhurst East Park. First 2 weeks will be practice only. There are 6 weeks of games either played on Tuesday and/or Thursday night agenst other Joyful Journeys teams. Coaches are volunteers. Team communication will be on Heja. Open to boys and girls ages 4-9.

JJ's will provide some team equipment to coaches, which will include soccer goals, soccer balls, and cones.

NOT included: shin guards, cleats, bags, shorts, and soccer socks. Jerseys are property of JJ's and will be returned at end of season. Trophies will be presented at team potluck following the end of season and pictures from picture day will be available for purchase.
