ALL Senior Prep and Junior Swimmers.... Practice on Saturday 10/15, will be from 7:00-8:30am at Miss Porter's School. Due to the Hartford Marathon and the road closures around SJC Saturday morning, the coaching staff has decided to move Saturday's practice to Miss Porter's.

ALL National, National Prep and Senior Swimmers.... Practice tonight, Thursday 10/13, will be from 6:30-8:00pm at SJC. Friday's AM practice, 10/14, has been cancelled. Enjoy the day off!

Today WHAT is having their annual Team Suit and Apparel Order Day. Information has been e-mailed to team members regarding times and location. Please contact the team administrator for any additional information.

The First Annual WHAT IRONMAN was a huge success. Our team ran a practice today with a condensed version of the IRONMAN KONA. The practice was in honor of Timothy O'Donnell (Katie's brother) who was competing in his first IRONMAN World Championship.

On Sunday April 10, WHAT Swimming held their annual awards banquet at Wampanoag Country Club. Over 150 people in attendance, enjoyed many good laughs and stories about the past year of swimming. The highlight of the evening was watching Coach Jim smile. The beautiful and properly themed centerpieces were made by the Maciag family.

West Hartford Aquatic Team swimmers Jessie Ustjanausakas, Marilyn Walker (Strength/Conditioning Coordinator) and Sydney Golic at the National Club Swimming Association Junior National Championships in Orlando, Florida. This meet is the fastest 18/under meet in the country and both Sydney and Jessie qualified with numerous events. Sydney Golic represented WHAT Swimming at the 2010 Minnesota Grand Prix. She finaled in 5 out of her six events- winning the 200 backstroke Bonus Final on the last night of the competition. Sydney also set new team records in the : 100 and 200 Backstroke, 100 and 200 Breaststroke and 200 and 400 IM.
