He has over 14 National Championships for his age group teams. In 2004, he came back to Clearwater after sucessfully leading the Longhorn Aquatics team where he was head coach and had been ranked the number one club team in the country three years by USA Swimming Club of Excellence program.
Kevin Reese has been coaching age group and senior level swimmers with the C.A.T. program since 2009. His responsibilities include coordinating dry land and strength training, assisting with swim meet duties, including overseeing the set-up and operation of the electronic timing system. Kevin is a graduate of Florida State University, graduating in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. He has an extensive background in marketing and sales, having worked as a sales representative for Stryker and Depuy Orthopedics. He enjoys staying in shape, working out as much as possible, and feels good nutrition is key to staying healthy and creating the needed edge to be successful in the sport of swimming.
Patrick comes to
CAT from Ellicott City, MD where he was the head coach of
YCM. He has spent his life swimming and coaching in the Baltimore
and surrounding area. During his time as head coach at YCM, he
coached developmental swimmers, MD state champions, and YMCA
National qualifiers. It's a dream come true for Patrick to coach
next to legendary Coach Reese and the rest of
CAT staff. Patrick managed to achieve the status of
Junior National champion in the 200m backstroke, Senior National
qualifier, and U.S. Open qualifier while setting Maryland state,
Retriever Aquatic Club, and Severna Park YMCA records that are
still standing. During that time Patrick was selected to attend the
United States Select Training Camp at the Olympic Training Center
in Colorado Springs, CO. for three consecutive years.
Patrick is the proud father of four
beautiful daughters Leah, Riley, Adyson, and Poppy and when he
is not on the deck, he enjoys spending time with them.
He is excited to bring years of experience to CAT and looks forward to continuing and building upon the success that this club and its swimmers have seen and achieved over the years.
