2025 Lantana Lightning Swim Team - Planning is underway.

April 1st - 6th, Returning Swimmer Registration

April 6th -until full, New Swimmer Registration

The Swim team swim practice schedule will be posted shortly, but usually after registration!!:-)

Requirements to Join Lantana Lightning:

YOU MUST BE A RESIDENT OF LANTANA

1. Your child must be at least 5 years old by June 1st to swim this season. 

2. Your child MUST be able to swim independently at least 25 meters (50 meters for ages 11+). The coaches understand that swimmers might be a bit rusty at the beginning of the summer.

3. ​​​​If your child is unable to swim independently across the pool after the first week of practices, then we will refund your registration fee. This is non-negotiable. 

4. Each swimmer must participate in at least one swim meet during the season and be legal in the stroke they choose to compete in for the championship meet.

5. You must have someone in your family (12 years or older) that is willing to volunteer throughout the season. Each family is required to fulfill the volunteer requirements. You signed this confirmation when you registered and can be subject to a fee if not fulfilled.

6. You must complete the swim team registration online on the team website, click on the orange button above to get started.

Registration 

The $175 registration fee includes the following per swimmer:

• Team T-shirt
• Swim Cap
• Entrance to Championship meet (all kids should try to go - it's like junior olympics!)
• Entrance to Team party along with all family members
• Speeding ticket Prizes
