DMC Juniors

DMC Juniors is made up of wrestlers who are in grades 1st through 8th and have 1 year or less experience. The goal of DMC Juniors is to provide a healthy and supportive environment to develop the fundamental skills that all wrestlers need in order to move on to the next level. Practices are kept upbeat and fun while maintaining a controlled and structured positive learning environment for all. Within the Juniors group, practices may be split into separate groups to better meet the needs of all wrestlers.
Wrestlers are encouraged to participate in the local tournaments around Oregon, but are not required to. We want your kids to be life-long wrestlers and to advance at a rate that they are comfortable with.

  • Wrestlers who are older and/or are progressing faster than others, may be moved up to the Senior group per coaches discretion.

Workout Days/Time/Location: Monday & Wednesday - 6:15 - 7:30 - Mt. View High School - Season runs from Oct. 16 through Dec. 16 (Crook County Tournament) - $200 registration fee plus $51 USA Wrestling Card. Parents will go online to https://www.usawmembership.com/login to create a USA account and then purchase the USA membership card. You must have a current USA membership card before you can practice.

  • Those Juniors who want to continue upon the scheduled Juniors season, may be able to move up into the Seniors group if coaches determine it's a good fit. They would pay an additional $100 for the extra month of January.

DMC Seniors

DMC Seniors is designed for wrestlers who are in 1st through 8th grade and have 2 or more years experience. This program is developed to build on the foundational skills established in DMC Juniors. These practices will be more intense and move along at a faster pace than our Juniors group. Within the Seniors group, practices may be split into separate groups to better meet the needs of all wrestlers.
By the end of the season all wrestlers will have a solid understanding of the various positions and techniques used. We want to develop life-long wrestlers who continue to learn and grow with the sport. We encourage wrestlers in DMC Seniors to compete in tournaments in and outside of Oregon.

  • Wrestlers who are older and/or are progressing faster than others, may be moved up to the Elite group per coaches discretion.
