DMC January Post-Season Schedule & Tournament Info

As we head into January, we are officially moving into our post-season phase. This is where things tighten up and intensity increases.

Practices (January):
Location: Caldera Mat Room
Days: Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday
Time: 6:15–7:45 PM

These practices will be more intense, with a heavier emphasis on live wrestling and competition rather than instruction. Wrestlers should come ready to push the pace and challenge themselves.

Please be sure to review the flyers posted on the calendar for each event, as they include important details related to weigh-ins, start times, and logistics.

With middle school wrestling starting this week, we want to welcome those wrestlers to continue training with DMC at practices. We certainly expect and encourage them to finish out the kids season while balancing their middle school commitments.

Remaining Tournaments:
• Oregon Classic Qualifier
January 10
Obsidian Middle School
Wrestlers must place top 3 in their bracket to qualify for the Oregon Classic.

• Oregon Classic
January 18
Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center
Wrestlers must compete in the same weight class they qualified at.

• OWA Kids State Championships
January 30 – February 1
Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center
This is not a qualification tournament and is based on age group and weight class.
