DIVERSITY / OUTREACH IINFORMATION
 
NJ Swimming's mission is to support its members in advancement of the
sport through creative educational programming and fair competition
 
The NJ Swimming Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committees’ purpose is to create, promote,
and support programs  in New Jersey, creating a culture of inclusion for people of diverse
backgrounds to give them the opportunity to learn, compete, and grow in the sport of swimming!
 
NJ Swimming offers outreach funding to our athletes.  Outreach Athletes need only pay
$5 for USA/NJS registration,  apply for funding for NJS LC Age Group Zones Team; teams
can apply for funding for meet entry fees. 
 
Athletes need only show proof of any type of State aid; health care, food stamps, etc.,
or using the Federal Poverty Level Guidelines shows income that falls at or below the
levels below. Show proof to your team registrar only (the  first 2 pages of your income tax return).
  
Each athlete must be registered as outreach to receive any type of outreach funding.
