PST Promotes Franco Lupoli to Head Age Group Coach

Coach Franco Lupoli was appointed the Head Age Group Coach for the Plantation Swim Team in October of 2023. Having been a coach at PST since July 2022 under the tutelage of Coach Woods, Coach Franco has assisted the senior group during the past year. Originally from Venezuela, Coach Franco has been living in South Florida for the past 13 years.

Coach Franco has coached athletes towards qualifying for Age-Group Championships, FGC Senior Championships, FHSAA State Finalists, Sectional, Futures and Junior National Qualifiers, and the 2022 Southern Zone Senior Championship Men's Team Champions, and Sixth place on the Women’s side. Formerly, Coach Franco coached at the collegiate level for Nova Southeastern University with SSC’s Champions and NCAA’s Finalists.

Coach Franco graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Coach Franco has competed as a swimmer at the club, collegiate, international, and professional level.
