Dear Members of the Plantation Swim Team Booster Club, Coaches, Parents, Friends and Swimmers:
The Downey’s would like to take this opportunity to extend their sincere gratitude for your hospitals visits, cards, gifts, messages on the care pages, donations and/or whatever part you may have played during this time. But most importantly, for your continued thoughts and prayers for our son Caleb and the entire Downey family.
We want to express a special thank you to Dennis Foster who pulled together the “Midnight Madnessý and turned it into a fund raiser for Caleb; for those swim families who participated and for the coaches who gave up their Friday night and Saturday morning to be part of this event.….your thoughtfulness has not gone unnoticed.
While Caleb has made remarkable progress over the past months, there is still a long road ahead. He is our ‘walking miracle’ and we have each and every one of you to thank. For whatever you did no matter how small or how large it was and will be instrumental in helping Caleb through the recovery process.
Once again, please know that the Downey family is forever grateful to each and every one of you for all that you have done. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.
