Special Thanks from the Downey Family

Dear Plantation Swim Team Booster Club, Coaches, Parents and Swimmers:

 

As you know this has been a tough year for the Downey family from the July 1st accident to passing of Stuart.  Some times I don't have the right words to express our sincere gratitude for everything that everyone has done.  I hope that this will express our thoughts.

 

Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quitely in a chair.

Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so we saw it there.

Perhaps you made a meal, or leant a shoulder or ear.

Perhaps you spent some time with us, for that we are glad you are near

Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say;

Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day.

Whatever you did to console our hearts, we greatly thank you so much for whatever your part.
