Junior Olympics Recap Friday

PST had a great Friday night at the Junior Olympics in Coral Springs, with 10 individual swims in finals. Skye Downey cut massive amounts of time in the 200 Back (2:26.37) to finish in 1th place, Dylan Marsolek took the 8th spot in a very fast 200 Free final (1:45.60), Courtney Randolph took second in the 400 IM (4:26.00) and 5th in the 200 Free (1:54.55), Sivan Fraiman competed in both the 200 Back (6th place, 2:13.00) and 200 Free (7th, 1:58.87), Natalya Wozab doubled up in the 50 Breast (9th, 40.15) and 100 IM (9th, 1:17.95), Ryan Witcher placed 6th in the 200 Free (2:03.87) and 3rd in the 50 Fly (28.15). Swimmer of the Day however has to go to Jessica Randolph. Jessie finished 3rd in both the 200 Free (1:55.44) and 400 IM (4:40.22). Her prelim time of 1:54.80 in the 200 Free broke the team record for 13-14 Girls.

PST was also well represented in the 400 Free relays, with the 11-12 Boys (Gabriel Perez-Silva, Ryan Witcher, Esteban Vazquez and Alfred Maria) finishing in the 9th spot, the 13-14 Girls (Jessica Randolph, Sivan Fraiman, Jenna Diamond and Renata Rios) taking 5th, and the 15-19 Girls (Ashley Hicks, Courtney Randolph, Cheriesse Campbell and Mika Michalowitz) also taking 5th.
