Division 2 Meet Recap

Congratulations to all the PST swimmers who competed in the Division 2 Championships at Florida Atlantic University July 10-12. PST showed just how deep with talent we are with multiple JO cuts, finals appearances and massive time drops.

New JO cuts include Victoria Abad (100 Back), Laryssa Bedley (50 Free), Alfred Maria (200 Free), Brian Montenegro (100 Back, 100 Breast, 100 Free), Krissa Robinson (200 Free, 400 IM, 100 Back), Dylan Weiss (400 Free) and Natalia Wozab (50 Breast).

  Leading the way in finals appearances were Brian Montenegro and Krissa Robinson with 6 each. Lorenzo Cabrera and Alfred Maria both competed in 5 event finals with Laryssa Bedley, Skye Downey, Natalya Wozab and Sarah Young stepping on the block for 3 finals. Allison and Victoria Abad, Alejandra Cardozo, Sophia Oliva, and Damian Suski all had 2 apearances, while Serah Adkison, Delali Amoah, Edward Burgess, Jacob Pablo, Trishawn Shim and Dylan Weiss all made the top 8 in one event.

  Some of the unbelievable time drops include Victoria Abad in the 100 Back (16 seconds), Serah Adkison in the 200 IM (96 sec), Francisco Alvaro in the 100 Back, 100 Free and 100 Breast (12 sec, 10 sec and 21 sec), Laryssa Bedley in the 200 IM (49 sec), Krissa Robinson in the 400 IM (25 sec), Kayla-Joy Shim in the 100 Breast (21 sec), Dylan Weiss in the 400 Free (22 sec), Natalya Wozab in the 50 Back, 100 Back and 100 Breast (13 sec, 16 sec and 18 sec) and Sarah Young in the 400 Free (21 sec).

12 & Under Swimmers of the Meet are Dylan Weiss and Laryssa Bedley for their new JO standards and finals appearances.

13 & Over Swimmers of the Meet honors go to Brian Montenegro and Krissa Robinson. Congrats!
