JO Reminders

 
PST Swimming JO Swim Meet Reminders:

Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes BEFORE warm-up starts. Find the team, check in with the coaches, stake a claim on a piece of real estate for yourself, check the line ups and write them on your child’s arm. Please have your athlete sit under the team tents. (That’s the fun part of the meet for your athletes, hanging out with their friends and team mates). Note: The team tents are for athletes only.
Your Athlete’s Swim Bag should contain: * Team Shirt * 2 Team Cap * 2 Goggles * Shoes * 2 Towels * Warm Clothing * Sunscreen * Water * Snacks * Label everything.
Your role as a parent: Cheer them on, congratulate, and console if necessary. Remind your athlete that their behavior reflects on their team: they must behave like a champion with grace and humility and a smile on their face no matter the outcome of any one race. After their event, make sure they check back in with their coach for tips to improve their next race.

Practice - Plantation Aquatic Complex 5:00 pm to 6:00 p.m.
 
Dinner - 6:30 p.m. at Sweet Tomatoes in Plantation - 801 S. University Drive. Ste K 101, Plantation, FL 33324
 
Cost - Adults $8.39 / Kids 6 - 12 $4.99 / kids  3-5 $2.99
 
 
Order of Events:
Events 1-4 Wednesday March 10 Warm-up at 3:30pm
Events 5-42 Friday March 12 Warm-up at 7:30am
Events 43-88 Saturday March 13 Warm-up at 7:30am
Events 89-116 Sunday March 14 Warm-up at 7:30am
Warm up for finals on Friday will start at 3pm. Saturday and Sunday warm up will begin at 3:30pm
 
Directions to Coral Springs:
Take University, Pine Island or Nob Hill north to Copans / Royal Palm and head west (left). The pool will be just west of Nob Hill on your right.
