Comets Meet Recap

PST opened the short course season off with a bang at the Open Invite in Pembroke Pines September 24-26. Best times were dropped like a sack of potatoes and AA times were posted with regularity. We also had a high number of swimmers achieve 100% best times.

Piranhas dipping under the AA standard include Meagan Abad (100 Back, 100 Free), Chloe Adams (50 Free, 100 Free), Jenna Diamond (200 Back), Jorge D’Ugard (200 Fly), Abigail Fossas (50 Free, 100 Breast and AAA times in 100 and 200 Free, 50 and 100 Back and 100 Fly), Sivan Fraiman (50 Free), Dylan Marsolek (200 Fly, 200 Back), Allison Moser (100 Free), Krissa Robinson (200 Back), Danny Tucci (100 Back), Alec Wathen (200 Fly), and Ryan Witcher (200 Fly).

PST also had numerous swimmers take significant time off their previous best times. Meagan Abad took 10 seconds off her 100 Breast, while little sister Victoria took 27 seconds off her 200 Free and 12 off her 100 Fly. On her way to 100% best times, Ariel Adkison had time drops of 26 seconds (50 Breast), 13 seconds (50 Free) and 32 seconds (100 Free). Not to be out done, older sister Serah also posted 100% best times. Serah’s group mate Chloe Adams also joined the 100% Best Time Club. Also joining the 100% club was Ariela Anselmo, who took 19 seconds from her personal best in the 100 Back, Daniel Escobar, Abigail Fossas, Elad Fraiman, Sean Grant, Emily Henderson, Ben McClenney, Andres Pelaez, Angela Petrillo, and Danny Tucci.

Congratulations and keep up the hard work!
