USA SWIMMING NAMES 2010-2011 SCHOLASTIC ALL-AMERICA TEAM
USA Swimming today released the roster for its 2010-2011 Scholastic All-America Team.
The Scholastic All-America Team recognizes USA Swimming members who excel both in the classroom and in the pool. The Scholastic All-America Team is made up of high school student-athletes who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and who have achieved the required time standard in a single event.
This year, the roster includes 1,759 swimmers (1,051 girls and 708 boys), which is 200 more student-athletes than were on the 2009-2010 list.

The girls' list has 135 three-timers and 786 with a 4.0 GPA, while the boys' list has 85 three-timers and 515 with a 4.0 GPA.
To be eligible for this recognition, swimmers must have completed 10th, 11th or 12th grade and must be a USA Swimming member athlete. Eligible times must be swum by June 30, 2011 and the application completed by August 1.
