PRE-TEAM  1.0 (4 DAYS A WEEK ) LAUDERHILL LOCATION

 THIS TRAINING GROUP IS THE FIRST PHASE OF OUR PROGRAM FOR SWIMMERS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5-12. FOCUS IS ON CONTINUATION OF FREE/BACK STROKE DEVELOPMENT WITH MORE ADVANCED ENDURANCE TRAINING.  PRACTICES ARE HELD 3 DAYS A WEEK FOR 60 MINUTE TRAINING SESSIONS.  DRYLAND TRAINING IS INTRODUCED 2 TO 3 DAYS PER WEEK.

THIS TRAINING GROUP IS A BRIDGE BETWEEN PRE-TEAM 1 AND AGE GROUP FOR AGES 5-12.  CONTINUED FOCUS ON FREE/BACK STROKE DEVELOPMENT WITH AN INCREASE IN COMMITMENT AND ENDURANCE TRAINING.  PRACTICES ARE HELD FOUR DAYS A WEEK FOR 60 TO 90 MINUTE TRAINING SESSIONS. DRYLAND TRAINING IS INTRODUCED 2 TO 3 DAYS PER WEEK.  INTRODUCTION TO BREAST AND FLY IS DONE IN THIS GROUP.

PRE-TEAM  3.0  (5 DAYS A WEEK)  LAUDERHILL LOCATION

THIS TRAINING GROUP IS A BRIDGE BETWEEN PRE-TEAM 1 AND AGE GROUP FOR AGES 5-12.  CONTINUED FOCUS ON FREE/BACK STROKE DEVELOPMENT WITH AN INCREASE IN FREE/BACK STROKES WITH A COMMITMENT TO ENDURANCE TRAINING.  PRACTICES ARE HELD FIVE DAYS A WEEK FOR 60 TO 90 MINUTE TRAINING SESSIONS. DRYLAND TRAINING IS INTRODUCED 2 TO 3 DAYS PER WEEK.  INTRODUCTION TO IM TRAINING IS DONE IN THIS GROUP.

AGE GROUP

 

AGE-GROUP - VETS (5 DAYS A WEEK) LAUDERHILL LOCATION

AGE GROUP- VETS CONTINUES A FOCUS ON STROKE DEVELOPMENT WITH AN INCREASE IN  ENDURANCE TRAINING.   SWIMMERS TRAIN 4 TO 5 TIMES A WEEK, ALONG WITH THREE DRY LAND SESSIONS, AND PRACTICES ARE BETWEEN 60 TO 75 MINUTES IN DURATION. gROUP IS DESIGNED FOR  SWIMMERS WHO MAY NOT WANT TO COMPETE AT A CHAMPIONSHIP LEVEL OR COMMIT TO THE WORKLOAD OF A CHAMPIONSHIP LEVEL RIGHT AWAY. AGES RANGE FROM 13-18 YEARS OLD.( nO TIME STANDARDS REQUIRED)

AGE-GROUP 1.0 (5-6 DAYS A WEEK) TAMARAC LOCATION

AGE GROUP 1.0 CONTINUES A FOCUS ON STROKE DEVELOPMENT WITH AN INCREASE IN  ENDURANCE TRAINING. CONSIDERED A PRE - AGE GROUP CHAMPIONSHIP GROUP.  SWIMMERS TRAIN 4 TO 5 TIMES A WEEK, ALONG WITH THREE DRY LAND SESSIONS, AND PRACTICES ARE BETWEEN 60 TO 90 MINUTES IN DURATION. (BB STANDARDS OR INTENT TO GET BB TIME STANDARDS ARE REQUIRED)

AGE-GROUP 2.0 (5-6 DAYS A WEEK)

 THIS TRAINING GROUP IS FOR SWIMMERS WHO HAVE SHOWN A COMMITMENT AND DESIRE TO REACH  AGE GROUP CHAMPIONSHIP MEET STANDARDS. PRACTICE IS OFFERED FIVE TO 6 TIMES A WEEK, WHEN POSSIBLE, UP TO TWO HOURS IN LENGTH. FOR AGES 11-15 WITH CONSIDERABLE SWIMMING EXPERIENCE. GOAL SETTING AND ATTAINING HIGH LEVELS OF COMPETITION ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED AT THIS LEVEL. SWIMMERS TRAIN 5 TO 6 TIMES A WEEK, ALONG WITH THREE DRY LAND SESSIONS, AND ARE BETWEEN 90 TO 120 MINUTES IN DURATION. (bb STANDARDS ARE REQUIRED).

 THIS TRAINING GROUP IS FOR SWIMMERS WHO HAVE REACHED/OR CURRENTLY HAVE AGE GROUP CHAMPIONSHIP MEET STANDARDS. PRACTICE IS OFFERED FIVE TO 6 TIMES A WEEK, WHEN POSSIBLE, UP TO TWO HOURS IN LENGTH. CONSIDERED A PRE-SENIOR GROUP FOR AGES 11-15 WITH CONSIDERABLE SWIMMING EXPERIENCE. GOAL SETTING AND ATTAINING HIGH LEVELS OF COMPETITION ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED AT THIS LEVEL. SWIMMERS TRAIN 5 TO 6 TIMES A WEEK, ALONG WITH THREE DRY LAND SESSIONS, AND ARE BETWEEN 90 TO 120 MINUTES IN DURATION.(aGE GROUP/ BB STANDARDS REQUIRED).

SENIOR

 

SENIOR TEAM 1.0 (5-6 TRAINING + 1 GYM SESSIONS A WEEK)

 THIS TRAINING GROUP IS DESIGNED FOR HIGH SCHOOL AGE SWIMMERS. SENIOR 1.0  SWIMMERS NEED TO SHOW A COMMITMENT AND DESIRE TO REACH REGIONAL AND BETTER THEIR SWIMMING. PRACTICE IF OFFERED 5 TO 8 TIMES A WEEK, WHEN POSSIBLE, UP TO TWO AND A HALF HOURS IN LENGTH. FOR AGES 15+ WITH CONSIDERABLE SWIMMING EXPERIENCE PRACTICE SESSIONS RANGE FROM TWO TO FOUR HOURS, FIVE TO SIX TIMES A WEEK WITH ADDITIONAL DRY LAND AND WEIGHT TRAINING.

SENIOR TEAM  2.0 (6-8 TRAINING + 3 GYM SESSIONS A WEEK)

 THIS TRAINING GROUP IS MADE UP OF AGES 15+, WHO HAVE DEMONSTRATED ADVANCED COMMITMENT TO THE SPORT OF SWIMMING.  MAIN FOCUS OF THIS GROUP IS ON SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP AND SECTIONAL COMPETITIONS. SWIMMERS TRAIN 7 TO 8 PRACTICES A WEEK WITH ADDITIONAL DRY LAND AND WEIGHT TRAINING. SESSIONS RANGE FROM TWO TO FOUR HOURS. BASIC NUTRITION IS ALSO ADDED TO THIS GROUP’S EDUCATION.

SENIOR ELITE  ( 7-8 TRAINING + 3 GYM SESSIONS A WEEK)

 THIS TRAINING GROUP IS MADE UP OF OUR TOP COMPETITORS, AGES 15+, WHO HAVE DEMONSTRATED ADVANCED COMMITMENT TO THE SPORT OF SWIMMING.  MAIN FOCUS OF THIS GROUP IS SECTIONAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVELS OF COMPETITIONS. SWIMMERS TRAIN 7 TO 8 PRACTICES A WEEK WITH ADDITIONAL DRY LAND AND WEIGHT TRAINING. SESSIONS RANGE FROM TWO TO FOUR HOURS. BASIC NUTRITION IS ALSO ADDED TO THIS GROUP’S EDUCATION.
