How to Sign Up for a Meet
- Make sure you have your USA Swimming registration up to date (Need to be registered for the current year to compete). If you do not, please go to the “Team Policies” Tab and click on “How to register for USA Swimming”
- Click on the “Event” tab
- Now read the description carefully, it says what groups should be attending the meet. If your group is not listed, then this event is not for you. When in doubt, ask your coach!
- Next, READ the Meet Info file under Forms/Documents before committing. Here are the important parts you need to know from the event file:
- Location
- Date/Time
- Spectator information (here you will know where the parents can be throughout the meet)
- Entry deadline, note that this is the club's deadline to send the entire team's entry file so you must declare BEFORE this date.
- Entry Limit: You cannot surpass the entry limit.
- Events Offered: Every meet is different! Take a look at what you might want to race.
AFTER THE ENTRY DEADLINE PASSES YOU WILL BE CHARGED AND CANNOT BE REMOVED/REFUNDED FOR THE MEET.
- Now, go to the previous window. You have now read the meet information and can commit to the meet. On the top right you will see Attend/decline. Click it, it will ask you to log in to your account if you have not done so already.
- At the bottom you will see the swimmers under your account. Click on their name
- Select Yes, please sign [Swimmer name] up for this event. You may be prompted to Declare for Specific Days or Sessions.
