Piranhas New Facebook and Twitter Accounts!

  Piranha Parents and Swimmers-

I hope everyone had a great summer and is excited for what is bound to be an exciting fall of Piranha swimming! As some of you are aware, the Piranhas have an official Facebook page and Twitter account. Please take a moment to review the below information as some of the Facebook and Twitter account information may have changed since you last checked. Look for updates to both Facebook and Twitter daily, as we want everyone to feel connected to the Piranhas!

Piranha Facebook Page- 'Like' us now!

With all ages using Facebook for various reasons, the time has come for a highly interactive and informative Facebook page for the Pompano Beach Piranhas. The new page will feature stories about our swimmers, coaches, and constant news updates. Not only will the page feature information about Piranha swimming, but swimming across the globe. Having a well-informed and involved swimming community is incredibly important. The Piranhas are committed to providing the tools to accomplish both of these goals.

While the page is designed for official Piranha news and information, we strongly encourage all of our swimmers and parents to post or share information they find relevant to the Piranhas mission. Twitter Account

For many adults and kids, their news source is no longer a television or even a website. Most information is garnered through social media. Even more so than ever before, Twitter has become the up to the minute news source for many popular media outlets in the world. News travels faster on Twitter than on any other social media platform because of the retweet function. Twitter provides a platform for informing current and prospective members about upcoming events, news, and special promotions. With news traveling so quickly via Twitter, we encourage the current Piranha members ‘follow’ us on Twitter and share our news with their followers. Ultimately, the goal is for current members to receive up to minute updates about the Piranhas, and those members to help inform the Pompano Beach and surrounding community members about the Piranhas. Whether their goal is becoming a Junior Olympic Champion or learning to swim, we want them to be part of the Piranha family.

This past summer’s success was an indication of great things in the near future for the Piranhas. We value each and every swimmer who puts on the Piranha swim cap and want to provide a high-quality experience for everyone.
