2014 Parent Information Meeting- IMPORTANT!
Piranha Parents and Swimmers-
On Friday, January 31st at 5:30pm- the Piranhas invite (strongly encourage) all parents and swimmers to join us for our 2014 Spring Informational Parent Meeting. During this meeting, we will be providing a child friendly movie on the projector at the pool for all the kids- PIZZA & POPCORN provided. Our hope is you will all give us approximately 90 minutes of your time to help make you feel more comfortable for this 2014 season. This is a great chance to get to know other parents on the team as well!
In this meeting we will cover important topics for both new and veteran swim families. Some of the topics covered will include the following below, along with others followed by a Q & A session:
- What is USA Swimming?
- What to expect at each swim meet?
- What are the different time standards
- Which meets are for you?
- Swimmer expectations
- How does your swimmer progress?
- 2014 Hosted Meets/Championship Meet Season
This is just an overview of what is planned and we hope to cover any and all topics which will make you feel comfortable with your swimmers future in swimming. Please do your best to make yourself available for the meeting, as the coaches and board members strongly appreciate all of your continued support towards the Piranhas program.
