Bolles School Sharks Defend Junior Nationals-East Title

Bolles School Sharks Earn Back to Back Championships - Junior Nationals-East
With 781 points, the Sharks dominated the team competition - winning by 319 points - one of the largest margins in recent history. The Men's team continued the 5 year winning streak with a total of 598 points and the women finished 8th with 183 points!  This was truly a full team effort with 17 A finalists, 12 B finalists & 6 C finalists. Almost every A & B relay scored and everyone was on deck with big cheers and enthusiasm. 

Each night the team gave two teammates a mojo monkey for the standout performer of the day.
Wednesday - William Shoesmith earned the blue monkey for a 2nd place finish in the 1000 free & Leah Chin earned her pink monkey for and amazing 50 free closing leg on the 200 MR
Thursday - George Dovellos earned the blue monkey for a blistering, hypoxic 100 fly on the championships 400 MR & Lucero Mejia Arce earned the pink monkey for both her 100 back individually as well as leading on the 400 MR. 
Friday - Liam Carrington earned the blue monkey for his championship 200 Freestyle won in dominating fashion (decimating the team record by 2 seconds!) & Ainsley Stephan earned the pink monkey for her B-final 100 fly with a team record swim and then doubling down on the sprint relay! 
Saturday - Michael Gumino earned the final blue monkey for his A-Final swim in the 200 Fly after years of incredibly consistent work & Emmie Lewis earned the final pink monkey for her first Juniors and stepping up on every relay with enthusiasm and killer racing!
