Chandra Haimbaugh

Chandra is the studio owner and director of CADA. She has danced for over 20 years. She has been teaching dance and coaching competitive dance teams for over 15 years.

In 2001, she helped form the Citrus Elite Dance Team at Citrus High School. She was the coach for the Citrus Elite Dance team from 2001-2005.

In March 2005, she started the Elite Dance Force studio which was a hip hop only studio, the first of its kind in Citrus County.

In 2007, she changed the name to Dance Central and began expanding the styles of dance taught in her studio.

In 2019, she changed the name to Citrus Academy of Dance and Arts, to reflect the expansive scope of the fine arts that are being taught in the studio which include dance, performing arts and cheer.


Dance Highlights

  • Coaching certification through Spirit-U affiliated with Dance Cheer.
  • Attended Master classes at the Pulse Dance Convention under Laurie Ann Gibson, Chris Judd, Mia Michaels, and Brian Friedman.
  • Attended Master classes at the Monsters of Hip Hop Convention under Marty Kudhelka (Justin Timberlake's choreographer), Dave Scott, Poppin' Pete, Nappytabs (and others).

Competitive Coaching

  • 2006: Competed at first ever dance competition at the Orlando Magic Dance Championships.
  • 2006-present: Has successfully taken and competed at various competition placing silver to platinum for routines at such competitions as Showstoppers, Shake the Ground, Legacy, and Starpower, to name a few.

Other Information:

She has an Associate of Arts degree from Mountain Empire Community College in Virginia.

Tamara Ward

Miss Tamara's dancing career began at the tender age of 4. In 2008 at the age of 8, she joined CADA (formerly known as Dance Central).

Her award-winning career as a competitive soloist began in 2014.

She has consecutively placed in the top 5 & top 10 Overalls in the Solo Competitive divisions at competitions since 2014.

In 2015, she became an instructor CADA.

In 2017 and 2018, she won Citrus Got Talent (2017 as a soloist in the Teen Division and 2018 as a member of group in the Adult Division).
