The Kissimmee Swim Association offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is our goal to offer high quality proffesional coaching and technique instruction for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

| Sharks Group This is our entry level group. An athlete needs to be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and 25 yards of backstroke to join. Equipment: Swim Suit, Cap, Goggles, Kick Board, Pull Buoy
Navy Group From the Sharks group, athletes move into this group. Athletes in this group focus mainly on perfecting the four competitive strokes, starts and turns, and increasing endurance training. Equipment: Swim Suit, Cap, Goggles, Kick Board, Pull Buoy Minimum Requirements:*
Gold Group From the Navy group, athletes move into this group. Athletes in this group are usually at least 10 years old and have completed the Navy Group move-up skills list. This group is focused on developing aerobic endurance, refining stroke mechanics and achieving high levels of competitive swimming. Competing at swim meets is highly encouraged. Senior Prep Group From the Gold Group, athletes move into this group. Athletes entering this group must display a strong work ethic, drive and focus. Training focuses on preparing age group swimmers for the senior group through developing a strong aerobic endurance, developing more advanced stroke mechanics and meet event processes. Athletes in this group are advanced age group swimmers working towards achieving their FLAGS cuts and above. Workout Days/Times: Mon, Tue, Thur & Friday 5:30pm-7:30pm, Wed 5pm-7:30pm (Summer Schedule Differs) Equipment: Equipment: Swim Suit, Cap, Goggles, Kick Board, Pull Buoy, Aren Short Blade Fins, Paddles Minimum Requirements:* Age: 11&Up 10x100 Freestyle on 1:40 6x100 IM on 2:00 6x100 Kick on 2:15 1800 yards on 30:00 (T-30) IMX Events for Age during each Short Course Season
Senior Group Swimmers must be 13 or older, exceptions will be made for a highly advanced younger athlete. Athletes entering the Senior group must display a strong desire to perform at the highest level they are capable of. Training is geared towards individual talents, although a strong aerobic endurance factor is present. Athletes in the Senior group are directed towards making time standards for Senior Champs level and above meets. Workout Days/Times: Monday through Friday 5:30-7:30PM (Summer Schedule Differs) Equipment: Swim Suit, Cap, Goggles, Kick Board, Pull Buoy, Fins, Paddles Minimum Requirements:* "A" time in at least 1 stroke Attend practice at least 4 times per week
Senior Young Adults Swimmers 19 years old and above. For swimmers who graduate and are working or attending college nearby and want to continue training and attending meets. Must take USA Swimming Athletes Protection Course. Equipment: Swim Suit, Cap, Goggles, Kick Board, Pull Buoy, Fins, Paddles
