Pines Ice Arena has a wide range of Figure Skating & Hockey Programs for all levels and ages. Whether you’re skating just for fun and the health benefits or have Olympic dreams, we have a program to help you attain your goals.  Pines Ice Arena and the Pines Figure Skating Club are proud to be recognized by the Professional Skaters Association as a National Rink of Excellence for being a progressive training facility dedicated to excellence in coaching both on and off the ice.   All of our coaches are members of U.S Figure Skating, the Professional Skaters Association & USA Hockey. Because our athlete’s mental and physical safety is paramount to us, each coach has passed a comprehensive background check through the National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI).  They are also SafeSport certified through the U.S Olympic Committee.

Test Sessions

Figure skating can be either competitive or recreational, and those learning to skate can choose either route. While competitive skaters are required to participate in the U.S. Figure Skating (USFS) testing structure to eventually compete in qualifying competitions, recreational skaters can also opt to take tests in order to continually challenge themselves and their abilities. Pines Ice Arena hosts and prepares figure skaters for a variety of ice skating events. From holiday shows to exhibitions and competitions, we offer it all! Ask our Skate School office for additional information and dates.

Pines Ice Arena offers recreational hockey leagues all year long for youth and adult hockey players and we are proud to be the home of the Golden Wolves Youth Travel Hockey Club. Additional hockey related information can be found on our arena website at www.PinesIce.com.

Pines Ice Arena & Pines Figure Skating Club proudly offer an Olympic, World, International, and National Level Senior Coaching Staff.  As well as fully registered and certified Learn to Skate Instructors for introductory levels.

Private lesson scheduling is done by the coach, not Pines Ice Arena.  All lesson fees are paid in the Skate School office.  Lesson fees are for the private instruction only and do not include admission or skate rental. Once lesson has been paid for, you will receive a lesson slip that you will give to the coach at the start of the lesson time.  We accept all major credit cards, cash, or checks payable to Pines Ice Arena.
