The Blue Dolfins offer multiple training groups. It is our goal to offer age specific training for all swimmers to help them reach their potential

In addition to the monthly fees below, there is a yearly registration fee of $30 for the Blue Dolfins and $95 for USA swimming. This is a yearly fee usually initiated in September.

WORKOUT SCHEDULE - STARTS August 12th

Seniors MTRF 3:30 - 5:00 PM W 1:45 - 4 PM, MW 6:00 weights, TR 5:50-6:40 AM, S 7-9 AM.          

Silver - M-F 4:30 - 6:30,  8:30 - 10:30 

Flippers - MTWR 4-5 PM 

Bronze - MTWRF 5-6 PM 

Pre- Flippers - TR 5:00 - 5:45 PM

Blue 2 TRF 6:15-7:30 PM,

Blue 1 - MW 6:15-7:30 PM

Green TR 6:30 - 7:30 PM

Barracudas stroke school and summer league (summer only)

Ages 5-13- seasonal only starts in April- end in July two sessions - stroke school for basics and pre competition level. Barracudas - part of the C.FL. swim league - 4 meets practice 2x per week and 2 meets per month.

Pre Flippers 

 Held in waermer months- Ages 5-9 are taught the basics of proper technique, body position, kicking, and introduction to the 4 strokes. Swimmers need to be able to focus for 45 Minutes and be strong swimmers. Strokes are not necessary. $60 per month. 2 days per week, days and times are TR 5-6 PM  Coaches are Sue Butcher, 

Flippers

Athletes 5 - 9 are taught the fundamentals necessary for proper stroke and athlete development. Swimmers should be able to do free and back and be able to take instruction. . Flippers Group Coaches:  Sue Butcher, Megan Hurley, Lizzy White
Workout Days/Times: M-R 5:00 PM  $90 /month -*

Blue one and Blue Group -

Prepping athletes for the bronze, silver, or senior groups. fees are $105 per month. practices are: Blue TRF 6:15-7:30 PM, Blue 1 - MWF 6:15-7:30 PM

Green Group - Focusing on technique and preparing athletes for advancing to the Bronze, silver, or senior groups. Can also be a great suppliment to high school swimmers for additional technique during the season. This group is for ages 10-16. Please check with Coach Sue if you are interested. $75 per month. The group will be managed and directed by Coach Sue.

Bronze Group

Athletes in this group focus mainly on learning four legal competitive strokes, having fun, and perfecting start and turn technique.  BronzeGroup Coaches:  Sue Butcher, Megan Hurley, Lizzy White
Workout Days/Times: M-R 6-7:30 PM (30 minutes of dryland) F-5-6:30 PM $115 / month 

Silver Group

Athletes in this group are usually at least 11 years old, in the 6th grade, and have completed the Bronze Group move-up skills list. This group is exposed to training for the first time while trying to prepare for the 200/500 Freestyle and 200/400 Individual Medley races. Competing at swim meets is highly encouraged at a rate of about once per month. $130 per month
Silver Group Coach: Steve Pishko and Eric Christensen
Workout Days/Times:M-F 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM, Saturday at 7 AM

 

Gold Group

Minimum age for entry into this group is 13 years old. Athletes entering this group must display a desire to begin training on a more committed basis. Competition at swim meets is expected in this group. Training takes precedence for the first time in the athletes development.

Senior Group

Minimum age for entry into this group is freshman in HS. Athletes entering the Senior group must display a strong desire to perform at the highest level they are capable of. Training is geared towards individual talents, although a strong aerobic endurance factor is present. $160/ monthAthletes in the Senior group are directed towards making their Sectional Time Standards and above. Minimum training sets include:

National Group

Minimum criteria for entry is (1) Junior National time standard and a desire to be competitive on a National level. This group focuses on National and international level competitions. $160/month

Workout Days/Times: personal

Team Support Fee - there will be a 10$ team support fee for all athletes. This fee is used toward training gear, misc. team costs like swim meet equipment, and to help offset coaches travel costs.
