TBAC BRANDON Head Coach/Program Director/Owner: Christin Rockway

Christin is coming Home to the Club where she grew up and became the most decorated swimmer in Club history!  Christin represented then TBAY Brandon at the 2016 US Olympic Trials, in 4 events, where she finished Top 20 in the 400IM as a 16 year old.  Christin broke numerous FL Swimming Age Group Records, numerous HS State Championships, and was a member of the United States National Junior Team, where she finished Top 6 in the World at the 2018 Junior World Championships!  Christin graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences: Dietetics, with a minor in Psychology.  After her collegiate career, Christin was an assistant Age Group coach with Beford North Lawrence Aquatics (BNL) and was also the Assistant HS Coach. Christin will be moving back to the Brandon area with her fiance' Ben.  Welcome Christin Home to TBAC Brandon!  

I am extremely honored and excited to accept the position of Head Coach of TBAC Brandon!

When I joined this team at the age of ten, I never realized just how fundamentally Dave and this program would shape my future. TBAC Brandon became my second home and my teammates became my second family. Dave created such an amazing environment where we could all “thrive, not survive” (in his words) and that’s exactly the kind of culture we tried to emulate every day! That mentality has carried me through life from 10 years old all the way to today.

When I left for college in Indiana, I never expected to be returning home as a swim coach. However, through my last 6 years spent away from Florida, I learned that being a swim coach was my true calling. I am so blessed to have this torch passed to me, and I will work to continue Dave’s culture of excellence for this team!
