Cherie Empson coached three years for Tipp/Monroe Torpedoes in Tipp City, Ohio. Coached 8 and Unders for Summer Recreation League. She also coached two years for the Miami County YMCA Marlins 8 and Under program. She has two sons that have participated for 8 years in a swim program. Her youngest son, Tristan Empson, swims competitively for the Bluefins since 2012.
