Mandatory Evaluation night for all new swimmers interested in joining GBDS age group:
Tuesday Nov. 14th @ 5:30pm Grandville High School Pool
This is mandatory for any new swimmer looking to join Grandville Age Group and has not yet swam 1 season. Results will be posted on our team website. Your swimmer must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted. Please have your swimmer come ready to swim in their swimsuit, towel, cap (if desired) and goggles.
Season begins: Nov. 27th
Registration Begins: Oct. 1st via Community Ed website (recpro.gpsbulldogs.org)

| Any new swimmer or past Grandville age group swimmer that is looking to redefine their strokes and train for basic competition. These swimmers will learn the basic fundamentals of all strokes, starts,and turns. Requirements: -Passed evaluation night -Attend at least 1 practice per week -Listen well and follow directions from Coach -Attend 1 WMSL meet |
Swimmers who have already completed at least 1 season of age group swimming may register for this group. These swimmers are looking to build on their core strokes and will learn interval training. This group provides strength and conditioning to progress into middle school swim team training. Requirements: -1 completed age group swim season -50-75% attendance -Legal 200FR -Attend 2 WMSL meets and Championship meet -3 out 4 strokes legal |
Swimmers who are looking for a more challenging swim atmosphere. This group will reflect a training schedule of a USA program. This includes dryland activities in their training. These swimmers are also looking to strengthen their skills in their off season. Requirements: -1 completed age group swim season -75% attendance -Legal IM -Attend 2 WMSL meets and Championship meet -Basic Drill Knowledge |
