Practice Groups, Practice Times, Pricing
Please send an email through 'Contact Us' if you're unsure what group to sign up for. We will help you determine the correct group. If a swimmer gets registered for a group that is not a good fit for their skill level, we will make an adjustment after the first few practices.

GOLD (Advanced Swimmers):
- $200 Registration Fee plus $120 per month
- Practice Times: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7:00-8:30pm
- Snorkel & fins required
SILVER (Intermediate Swimmers):
- $200 Registration Fee plus $110 per month
- Practice Times: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7:00-8:00pm
- Snorkel & fins required
Bronze (Beginners): In general, swimmers in the Bronze group are 5 and 6 years old. Very new older swimmers may need to start out in this group. Must be able to swim 25 yards (down the pool) without assistance and without grabbing the lane lines.
- $200 Registration Fee plus $100 per month
- Practice Times: Tuesday/Thursday 6:30-7:00pm
USA/GA SWIMMING FEE: VERY IMPORTANT! Each swimmer will be required to register and pay the annual USA/GA Swimming fee after they sign up with the team and before they can attend their first practice. It is a requirement in order to be a member of a USA Swimming club team and also to compete in USA Swimming sanctioned meets. After registration, we will email you a link to make this payment and assure your swimmer is a member of USA/GA Swimming.
The team annual registration fee covers many team expenses needed to start the season and continue payment of administrative related fees for the entire season.

Additional expenses for swimmers/families:
Swimmers will be required to have their own goggles and practice suit (one piece for females/jammer for males). Swimmers with longer hair will be required to wear a cap at practice. All swimmers are required to wear a team cap at meets. Team Caps will be available for purchase at each practice for $15(Cash only).

Meet/Competition Suit: When we know the size of the team, we will determine if it will be cost effective to our families to offer the purchase of a specific meet/competition suit.
Meet Fees: See below
Team Spirit Wear: We are hoping to be able to offer the ability to purchase Riptides t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. to swimmers and family members. If so, this will be used as a fundraiser for the team.

Online payment for registration and monthly fees is preferred. Payment with a check or money order or cash will be accepted on an as needed basis.
Refund policy: There will be no refunds on Registration Fee and Monthly Fees already paid.
Cancellation policy: Monthly fees are auto charged to accounts on the first day of each month. Written cancellation (email/contact us) must be received on or before the 28th of the previous month in order to avoid being charged.
Late Fees: There will be a $25 late fee charged on the 5th of each month to all accounts with a balance.
Swimmers will not be allowed to participate if their financial obligations are more than 30-days delinquent, unless alternative arrangements have been made.
MEETS: When the meet schedule is finalized, it will be added to the Meets/Events tab. In general, we will try to attend one meet a month from October-March. These are many times multiple day meets (Fri/Sat/Sun OR Sat/Sun). Sometimes we will not attend all days of a multiple day meet if the event schedule is not in our swimmers' best interest. Please note that there will be an additional cost to each swimmer to attend meets. In the past it has been approximately $30 to $50+ per meet plus $15 per swimmer for the team administrative fee.
BREAKS: Monthly Fees have been calculated to include and account for the below breaks and pool closings. There will be no monthly prorations (exceptions may be made for lengthy closings due to extenuating circumstances that affect the pool, facility and/or the entire team)
1. Anytime Johnson Park is closed due to holidays, weather closings, other minor pool closings, etc.
2. ALL swimmers will be off for 2 weeks for Spring Break immediately following the Northeast Divisional meet. (This meet is normally in late March.)
